I was born and raised in St. Petersburg Fl. where at an early age I desired to be a professional cartoonist. I started my early cartoon habit with the Sunday newspaper. I drew it's colorful cartoons from front to back.
I quickly progressed to comic books which I still have tons of...As time passed I turned to "MAD" magazine. This was where I started to enjoy AbnOrMaL cartoon humor. Later I went to underground cartoons and it was over for me.....I was warped for life.
I first started drawing reptile cartoons for The Gainesville Herp. Society (FL) around 1985, this lasted for around 8 years. I have had non-reptile cartoons published in several magazines, such as...Easy Rider magazine, V-Twin magazine and Comedy Magazine. I have had cartoons published in the reptile magazine called "The Vivarium". Having a large storage of reptile cartoons and a fairly good following. I decided to pursue that area of cartoons (why not?).
Luckily I stumbled across a magazine that I truly consider a great reptile magazine by the name of "THE REPTILIA". I have never met a group of people that have made me feel so welcome and appreciated as they have. They put together a wonderful magazine (And the best part is that I get a half page for my cartoons!). It is published in three different languages, English, German and Spanish (They are located in Barcelona, Spain...cool huh?)
I am a member of FECO, The Federation of European Cartoonist Organization. I am the "first" American allowed to join the United Kingdom Chapter and I say this with all the pride that I have! (The FECO is a world wide professional cartoonist organization that has chapters in Great Britain, Italy, Japan, Holland, Romania, Egypt, Australia, Ireland, Spain, Iceland and turkey to name just a few.)
I am also a member of "The Suncoast Inkslingers Club" which consist of a strange group of ink junkies.
I have acquired a strange sense of humor over the years has sometimes caused problems. I sometimes see extreme humor in the most mundane to the most serious of things. To say the least..many have not seen the humor. (A true curse of a cartoonist)
I presently own a Pest Control Business in sunny St. Petersburg, Florida where I reside with my son Brandon (Who has a very strange sense of humor himself).
I have created this site to show my cartoons to anyone who may wish to enjoy them. I would also hope that it may create an opening for other cartoon opportunities.
If you are in need of cartoons for you publication that are deadline ready, please contact me!
Cartoons have been in almost every phase of my life, they are as much a part of me as breathing.
You are welcome to any cartoons on this site but please let me know where they are going..just for my own simple knowledge.
THANKS and SEEYA!
